This luxurious "Tamano Hikari Miyama-Nishiki Junmai Daiginjo" sake from Kyoto prefecture was specially made with Miyama-Nishiki rice (Shiga Prefecture), grown with innovative methods such as playing music for the rice crops & using organic fertilisers, in hopes of growing premium rice. Thereafter, it would be used in the brewing process to produce this overall well-balanced sake with a fine aroma & slight bitterness. This sake goes well with Japanese & Western cuisines and seafood.


Junmai, meaning "pure rice" in Japanese, refers to sake brewed with only rice, water, yeast and koji; no additives such as sugar or alcohol is added.
